Been a busy weekend! After my grandfather spent many hours of doing bodywork it was finally time to load the car up and put the car completely in color. Had a friend with a open trailer to load the rotisserie and haul it to Beaverton Auto Body to use their spray booth and spray the blue and white on the car. Friday night we unloaded and prepped the body for spraying the white first and then my grandfather suited up and started spraying late that night. Coming in the next day to mask off for the blue, discovered a few really dry spots developed over night. So had to scuff the paint again and then the shops staff painter agreed to repaint the white and all of the blue. He did an amazing job, really doesn’t need much cutting and buffing to really make this smooth as glass. It’s really nice to see this car back in its blue and white, it was really odd seeing it in bare metal and primer since the car hadn’t changed at all for me growing up. Now onto cutting and buffing then start to piece the car back together.
